Signature Mudpie from Manhatten Fish Market

2 days ago, I served a customer a Mudpie. Stared at it. Ohmygoddd. That rich chocolate~ I'm sooo gonna have that! And there's a 30% discount for staff! Yippee! So, I planned to buy that after work!

[Originally wanted to get it on some other days but I asked Fiza and she said it's quite troublesome to buy from other outlets cos you have to tell them you're a staff (prove it) and all. Easier to get from our own outlet :) ]

*after work*

"Aisha! I want to buy mudpie siaaa! It looks so nice! So I pay now??"
"Harh? You want mudpie ahhh? Uhhhhh~"

On the order taking menu machine, I saw she clicked on 'Friends card' .

*face brights up*

"OHMYGODDDDD! AISHA ILOVEYOU!!! <3"

Because we only click on 'Friends card' when customers redeem food items. WHICH MEANT, I got a free mudpie!!! =D HOLYCRACKERS!

There's like chocolate ice cream and brownie inside it? Damn love it!

This morning, I went on Youtube and found The Lonely by Christina Perri on the sidebar. I love Christina Perri and her emo songs hahaha! Anyway, that's not the main point :b

I scrolled down and read some of the comments and people were talking about their *rips heart apart </3* stories. I assume all of them are true? and some of them are tragically sad la D;

And I felt kind of protected and blessed in a way because I never had to experience any of this kind of depressing shit. Mine at most are... pinpricks? Heal very fast one la :) Or maybe I have divine healing powers HAHA! (Kidding)

Better to have a boring love life than a tragic love life right :) Yeah!
So maybe my first will be my last. Awwwww~

Costa Victoria (13th to 17th Dec)

Went onboard Costa Victoria from the 13th to 17th December! :)

I brought my lappie wanting to blog everyday BUT there WiFi was payable! Dammit! :(

So, here's my 5 days worth of posts lumped into 1 HAHA!

To cut short, so that you won't fall asleep, I'll post more pictures.

DAY 1

Didn't take much pictures of myself cos I was wearing specs. Damnnn.

Took public transport to the terminal at Marina Bay and it occured to me that I had never alighted at Marina Bay MRT before hahaha!

Costa is an Italian ship with Italian culture and Italian food.

The only Italian words I know how to speak are "allegro", "presto", "forte" (all the piano terms) HAHAHA!

We got onboard early, so we get to enjoy the buffet for a longer time hahah!

We toured the ship ourselves and my lil sis was complaining about something. Turns out hilarious HAHAH

There are 2 restaurants, Fantasia and Sinforia.

My family and I are in Sinforia and I think Squashy's in Funtasia dayum :(

Alright, so it's called a Gala Dinner and here's the menu :)

I had the 'Sliced Beef Fillet in mushroom sauce with vegetable flan and croquette potatoes'

Sounds so healthy but looks so sinful. OMG love it! Looks like a crepe and it still tastes sweet! Dayum should have ordered 2 of those hahaha!

Following that, there was a Captain's Cocktail Party~

There was a musical after that! Our seats sucked, the performers weren't performing for us at all lor :(

Ohya! The day before, I saw Weina's shooting star tweet. And I wanted to see one so baddd!

Just nice, we were sailing on a ship in the middle of the ocean with no blockages, chance is here ;) heheh!

But then my dad googled it and told me the shooting stars were already OVER =( Some ppl captured footages of the shooting stars. Soooo, at least I got to see videoed shooting stars?

Mum and Dad went back to their rooms after the toast and told us not to go out in the open already. But hahaha, we still went out X)

THE SKY WAS FLOODED WITH STARS ZOMG

I saw the Orion constellation first, you know, the hunter star pattern? And the more we stared at the sky, more stars started to appear :O We were counting stars and gave up at 50. Countless omg.

We were staring and star-gazing and planning to shift our beds out to the deck and stare at the stars until we fall sleep........ Suddenlyyyyy... one star fell *eeeeuuuuuu wham*

I saw a shooting star for the first time in my entire life;

I fulfilled my childhood dream *faints*

DAY 3

Costa stopped by Langkawi :)

The excursions were really expensive for 5 people, so we toured Langkawi ourselves :)

After that, we continued walking and stumbled upon some aquarium place?

Wanted to buy this pair of shorts. Love it! It fits snugly and it looks nice.

Acting emo in the hotel room HAHAHMa

IT'S DINNER TIME!

Main course: Baked fish (forgot the chim name)

All of a sudden, they blasted really loud Italian music and we were seated right below the speakers wtf! About to go deaf when everyone started swinging their napkins in the air :O

And the waiters came over to dance with us! Totally caught by surprise~

Big-eyed waiter came to dance with me~ HAHAHA!

After that, Big-eyed waiter patted his shoulder and I thought there's gonna be some stunt where he carries someone on his shoulder?! haha! Nahhh, turns out he was gonna lead a congo line.

OMG THE WHOLE RESTAURANT WAS FILLED WITH CONGO LINES!

I didn't manage to snap any pictures because I was super enthu about it and dashed up immediately (as soon as I knew what was going on) hahaha! Reminds me of Pre-U Sem!

Then the waiters prepared a dance too! HAHA! Didn't manage to video that as well dangggg!

AHHHH~ felt so high!

Same, I ordered 2 desserts HEHE! The second one is Mango Mousse :)

DAY 4

We dropped at Penang :)

There was nothing much to see in Penang. All buildings, chinese temples, indian temples, didn't really appeal to me :O

I suddenly remembered Chengyin talking about yummy Penang food! So that was all I looked forward too ^^

People always say Penang Laksa is good but how good is good???

Came across a coffeeshop at Penang and omigosh, laksa!

"famous" somemore woah!

I ordered Char Kway Teow at first but I decided to try a strand of my mum's Penang laksa.

Holy shit! It's SO GOOD! And it's not really spicy :)

Coming from a person who totally doesn't take spicy food at all, this bowl of Penang Road Famous Laksa is unbelievably good!!

I'm not a really good describer but it doesn't really focus on the spiciness. More on the... lemon grass? Idk how to describe, just try it if you have the chance ;)

Enjoying my first bowl of laksa after living for 17 years, 3 months and 17 days of my life.

No doubt, the best bowl of laksa EVER! :)

At the pool waiting for Batchacha lessons to start!

I was learning the guy part, cos my sis is shorter than me so she's the 'girl'. When we suddenly had to change partners, Nico (the trainer) came to dance with me and I was really clueless about the spinning parts and all that the girl has to do :O

Hate that I messed up ahhhh!

Nico is shortform for Nicola. In Italian/French/Spanish, Nicola is a pretty common guy name but in English... quite uncommon?

3.45pm

Historical moment: ICE came to teach how to dance like Michael Jackson!

He gave a stunning performance the night before. Uncanny looks, voice, superb dance moves. Almost like the real thing! My father watched it twice lols.

Here's Ice! Really patient and nice when teachin :)

He was using the glass walls of the elevators as a mirror. And there's this uncle that went in the lift specially to video him lols! The lift went up and down and up and down~

LAST DINNER AT COSTA

Ahhhh damn sad :( I was starting to be able to live w/o internet.

The waiters prepared a goodbye song for us (very italian-ish) HAHA!

The lights dimmed and they all came out with two candles on hand.

"Tomorrow~, you all going home already" (with the accent)

Appetizer! Here's my quiche :) I'm glad although the name sounded long and funny, I ordered it!

because its delicioussssss <3 there's ham and cheese and idk what they added inside to make it so yummy

My sister's appetizer. The shrimps look yummy! (even though I don't like prawns of any sort)

This ones looks sooo succulent!

Main course: Spinach Pie with Cream Cheese

I had 2 servings of those XD because the waiter cleared my dish when I haven't finished eating yet.

I was savouring that halfway when Gangnam Style started playing and the waiters were dancing to it on stage HAHAHA! This time, I managed to video it down yay! And that's also why I left my seat and my food disappeared when I got back.

Later in the night, there was a performance by Yolanda! She sings really well :) But I was super tired, 4 days of little sleep, so I dozed off in the middle D:

Sooo it's the last night on Costa and I was really sad :<

Didn't want to go back and pack so fast so me and my sis roamed about a lil while more :)
