YAY today has been a good day ^^

Successfully created the landing page with the signup form. Such a simple page but gawd all that sourcing, creating workflow, designing, changing the URL, CName DNS, numerous google hangout sessions with the tech team from India. OHGAWD. And its finally up!!! YAY.

Results was out today as well. Not as high as I wanted it to be but overall cGPA still went up and I'm happy about that ^^ One last sem to reach my goal! Weehee!

LOA intern has been settled as well~ So worried that the whole thing would flop, had to jump through hurdles after hurdles. Approval from boss to go for the interview, short of time to prepare for 3 interviews in 2 days, thought I didn't stand a chance after getting those 'bad vibes' after the interview, to receiving the call with the surprising intern offer. And the game didn't stop there. Still had to seek approval from the school to make special arrangements for my summer PA, and then seeking approval from my current bosses (carefully treading waters as they were already unhappy that I had to use work time to go for interviews) And finally!!! I'm so happy. Guess the tough fight made success taste even sweeter :)

Was eating at Maxwell earlier with the colleagues. Ordered seafood shengmian again yumz~ (had that ytd too haha) They gave a bigger portion today. Couldn't finish it all and had some leftovers. Was hanging around chatting with my colleagues when all of a sudden, one uncle came beside me and asked, "Zhe Ge Shi Shui De?" (Whose is this) and he pointed to the plate of sheng mian.

Hesitated for awhile.... before answering with a lil uncertainty that it was mine. Was anticipating what he was gonna ask. Doesn't seem like a foreigner asking for recommendations.

He then asked, "Ni Hai Yao Ma?" (Do you still want it?) I said I didn't want it anymore. He then took the plate away.

SOMEHOW, we all knew that he wasn't the cleaner but rather, a homeless uncle looking for food. I don't know how but we knew, and the mood suddenly dropped... It was honestly my first time experiencing such encounters and I feel so sad for him. Felt like giving him some money to buy his own food but he was gone after we recovered.
