Sometimes there's just so much I wanna say;

Sometimes maybe it's just better not to say anything at all

You clubbed. You had fun.
You played hard cos you had worked hard. You didn't sleep 2 nights before to complete an assignment, you were in school the whole of yesterday to complete a project.

You ain't ending the week without a bang.

44

hours of staying awake.

You had set a new record.

When you got home and lied on the sofa, you dozed in an instant.
You were in the middle of a dream, but the buzz of your phone brought you back to reality.
You thought it was from your boyfriend. But it was a fixed line number.
You picked up and gave an upbeat "Hellooo~".
You then wonder, could it be an insurance call? You received one not too long ago.
You soon knew.... OH FAK it was the HR!!!!

Your mind still empty, your throat still dry, you got up and tried to even... think.

"This will take roughly about 10 minutes"

You went to get a cup of water.

"Can you tell me more about yourself?"

... your mind was blank, still. Holy.

Recollect Jess, you have done this a thousand times, just think!

"Are you in the middle of something?"

You contemplated if it was appropriate to tell the HR that you just woke up. It was 4.50pm.

Somewhere in the middle, nearing the end, your engine finally(?) started booting up.
You sense the words and answers formulating in your brain.
You wonder if it did any help to salvage the earlier disaster.
It was great to hear that you are given priority, but you still can't help wondering if "we will soon be in touch either by phone or email" could mean goodbye.

Let the memories be reasons to smile
