We are all but humans who thrive in warmth, care and joy.

It is but the harshness or pain that we may have experienced,

that forces us into a state of coldness and distrust,

where fortresses are built around hearts.

Kindness begets kindness;

and love begets love.

So here's to wonderful 2018 with a resolution:

To be more loving and giving to the people around me,
showering them w more love, care and concern!

💗

Here's to having faith that the dots will all connect, looking back, 10/20/50 years later.

----- To live a life of experiences & adventure -----

"It's the choices that define us, not our gifts. You can never be proud of your gifts bc u were given them. You can only rlly be proud of your choices bc those are the things that u are acting on. And one of the most important choices that each of us have is u can choose a life of ease & comfort, or u can choose a life of service & adventure. And when you are 80, which one of those things do u think u are going to be more proud of?"

On work-life harmony:
"Usually it's about 'do you have energy?' Is your work depriving you of energy or is your work generating energy for you?"

Thinking about my genius scholar friends who in JC were learning to code as a side interest, using Python and Java to create mini-games. Back then, though I was in a state of wow, I was in a state of inaction because... Why would a future Business student need to learn Coding?

But nowwwww haha I am absolutely seeing its value.
