Ppl asking for money on the streets
11:52:00 PMHave y'all ever had those ppl approaching you in shopping malls asking if You felt that "ex-convicts should be given a second chance" ??
Most of us would say "Yes" right? Cos it's the morallyyy right answer ....
Then they go on saying that they are ex-convicts themselves and need money to finance their children's education/ family member's medical bills/ their own personal education etc etc. And they ask you to donate money .
Case 1: And you say you have no money.
Then they'll be like, "Just $5?"
"Don't have"
"$2?"
"Don't have"
"$1?"
$_$ $_$ $_$
ORRRR
Case 2: You reject them (say sorry and attempt to leave)
They don't let you go so fast :O Pokepokepoke your conscience again and ask "But you do think that ex-convicts should be given a second chance righttt???"
J8 got a lot of ppl like that, Nex also have and ZOMG PLAZA SING ALSO HAVE O___O
Was with a group of friends at Plaza Sing today and we got approached/stopped by this woman.
"Hi, 'scuse me, can I ask you a question? I won't take much of your time."
We stopped to listen. I thought it was some survey or what, which I don't mind taking, I like surveys! HAHAHA!
Then she asked that question! "Do you think ex-convicts should be given a second chance?"
Sian +_+ confirm going to ask/do the same thing.
Then my friends change formation, from a 2x3 rectangle formation become a semi-circle formation because we all don't want to stand directly in front of her. Haha! Damn funny! Cos the 2 frontmost ppl kinda backed a step, then the middle 2 backed a few more steps and it ended up like a semi-circle XDD
Sorry, it was a semi-circle with a jagged edge. I'm that edge HAHAHA!
Wanted to walk away/ stand behind and wait for them buttt I'll seem not morally upright laaa haha~ So I hanged around but away from the conversation. Used my phone HAHAHAHA!
She said she needed money to finance her education...... (didn't bother hearing the rest alr)
Well....... If she needed money..., GET A JOBBBBB!!! That Indian woman had perfectly functional limbs, quite well-dressed (floral shirt and tight jeans) , still young (maybe 20-30 yrs old?) , and wearing makeup somemore woah O_O . Instead of going round, playing the guilt card and asking ppl to donate money to you right . [Note: Baskers are a different case because they are working (in a way) by showcasing their skills. :) I support baskers!]
Anyway, my friend had eye-contact with me, so I mouthed/hand-signed her not to donate. Cos we both had bad experiences in kena-ing scammed (Discover Lion City = =) .
And at that moment, an Indian guy pushing a stroller rolled over my foot ! O_O He said, "sorry sorry" so, okay, brush off~~~ Maybe very crowded and not enough space for him ah .
The woman said, "$2 also can."
My friends, super soft-hearted, opened their wallets !!! (except the one tt also has bad experience) They pulled out $2 (like she said) and some shared cost for the $2 and I'm just there like gaping (?) Not in a retarded way la hahaha!
AND GUESS WHAT THE WOMAN SAID?!?
"Huh?? That's all?" (she mumbled)
HOMAIGAHWDDDDD o_O WHAT THE SHIT ?!?
ANDANDAND
I was still whatsapping on my phone when we left, and that woman glaredddd at me ! Like you know, stared at me when we walked passed with the slits of her eye ?
Gangster siol~!
We were discussing about it afterwards and another friend was saying that she was skeptical at first because THAT PLUS-SIZED woman was talking to another 2 Indian man, one of which was pushing a stroller.
Omigosh omigosh! That same Indian guy who rolled the stroller on me when I was hand-signing my friend !!! Wahhhhhh buay tahan .
Got lookouts + gangster + fat and lazy , I'm soooo not going to donate pls ...
In addition, the paper (license maybe? if there is even such a thing) which she was holding/showing/flashing to us, stated that it was for a "non-charitable organisation"
So I don't and don't have to feel that bad because it's not for charity ;)
Which means putting money in their pockets because they asked you to do so hahahaha get a job .
