Attempted baking meringue yesterday as well!
4 egg yolks
220g of caster sugar
pinch of salt

My oven tray was a lil small so I had to split the batter into 3 batches, THANKFULLY THERE WERE 3 BATCHES!!! Because....

Batch 1) The insides were just right! Crispy and light :) BUTTT (it has to come with a 'but', sadly) the outside was pretty sticky!!! Still, edible tho hahahahah I later realised that after cooling, the outer part became crispy and light as well! Though it was a lil brown hahahah

Batch 2) Within 15 minutes of baking, the top portion of all the batter turned brown!! Wtf?! So I googled and turns out, the oven temperature was too hot, I didn't wait for the oven to totally cool down after baking the first batch :<

Batch 3) Got super lazy with this batch. Waited for the oven to TOTALLY cool down before...... baking them immediately, aint no time for pre-heating! #excuses #lazy4eva
Heated it thrice, 20 minutes each time, idk why some of the egg white flowed to bottom, it got my meringues stuck to the baking paper omg BUT ANYWAYS, this turned out to be the best batch!! White, light and crisp, perrrrfecto!
