Briefly comb through past few months of blog posts, very nice. How to say ah?

Okay the girl does marketing, okay marketing, business, economics, I know already. Recession coming lor. Your more recent seniors that graduated found a job at any of the big banks already. After all the school is ranked 13th worldwide so prestige is there. They can stay there a while and stock up a little CPF, but in the following months as the recession prospects may deepen, the banks are starting to cut headcounts already by now. Past recessions are similar, once one bank starts cutting, the rest follows, then something big happens in the USA or Middle East, then you are probably better off in school doing a Masters, but an MBA at NTU costs really much.

If banking gets hit by the newest recession, commerce and marketing will get hit worse, that is economics. Public administration and religious institutions may pick up all the fresh graduates, it happens almost every round of recession. Some boys and few girls resort to military and other total defence uniformed corps, others head to Ministry of Education schools.

PM Lee says that this round the recession will be less severe in Singapore, a good thing. It has been 7 years since the last full-blown recession. E-startups may very often be the first to close shop once recessions hit, but by now ever since the 1997 dot com bubble burst E-startups have developed their own resilience also. They do without physical offices and they often have another skilset or trade, e.g. if I run my e-startup I can also do counselling, programming, gardening perhaps as a sideline.

Sun Yanzi was from marketing iirc, since you can play the guitar, maybe when you close this blog what you need is an audition as a songbird or your Youtube channel. Sun Yanzi is senior i.e. old already, at our age i.e. Yanzi is 37 and I am 34, we talk about babies, parenting and householding all the time outside of work. Blogging is seriously quite ancient by now as a marketing tool or even an internet diary, if you are keeping your blog I may have to dump mine sooner or later, but the point is I am old.

You are not old, mah, I am old, blogging is for old and dying people like me.

You see the old dementia thing is coming back again, why not we date since we are not young anymore..

Somehow I forgot again I was supposed to be figuring out whether is my wife Doreen Tan Jinglan or Alicia Ngiaw Sze Sien instead of asking you out on a date while thinking you are 30..
