22/11 canon photo marathon

When you want your thoughts to become reality but life is being a b*tch
And all there is left are memories and a deafening silence ARGH
Anw let's not get there cuz THIS post is supposed to be about the Canon Photomarathon last Sat!

So Char & I were the Canon Selphy girls. Before work officially started, we wandered around the photo areas tryna snap some insta-worthy shots. There was this backdrop that looked like a dreamy picnic scene in Jeju, with the sun rays peaking through the bamboos (err 2D), a pop up bench, stuffed stuffed Rilakkumas, a bicycle, baskets, fruits, baby's breath, yada yada. In the midst of snapping, a photographer approached to ask if he could get a shot of us in that Jeju-like booth. It somehow ended up with 7-8 photographers snapping away w their DSLRs, w the flashlights and all. LOL felt like a celebrity on a red carpet. That mini stardom moment

Alright, so when work started, I was there helping people get their photos printed using the Canon Selphy printer. They could print any picture they'd like, any amount they wanted. Some of them would choose pictures that were allllll the way back in their SD cards.... "No worries," I'd say...
While clicking (maybe like a few hundred pictures back?), I'd ask about the pictures that they wanted to print. Not with sarcasm, but with curiosity. Cuz I was after all, once into photography. (This rhyming game is going natural man)

And you know all that talk about real conversations? That was it!
That specific picture they had wanted to print among the thousands, must have mattered to them. They must have felt a connection to it cuz they lit when they talked about it, they can go on and on, every single one of them. And I had learnt quite a few new interesting things too, but only remembered the part about the dogs... ahahah:

• APPARENTLY, "corgis don't like to be constricted" so "they don't like the cuddles" BOOHOO :( And "they might start chewing your furniture if you don't rlly have time to take them out because they are rlly active and energetic". DAYUM nobody would be at home to take my corgi out for walks and I still want my furniture intact. Sad, cuz I always wanted a corgi. I mean like... LOOK AT THIS HOW TO RESIST?!?

• Yorkis are rlly yappy and the girl's yorki did rlly 'territorial' stuff like digging and peeing to mark his territory. Erm, it's a no from me hahaha
• "If I want you want a dog to cuddle, you can get like a Lab." True... they look like they need a cuddle to sleep ahah but I don't want a sleepy dog tho....I want an energetic lively dog heheheh
