Somersat on Saturday

So yesterday...

Me and Mindy went to Somerset for flea ! Again . HAHA ! But I love it !

I waited for like ... 45 minutes ?! Gawdddd.. But meanwhile, I went to Subway to fill my tummy hehe ! I was staring out of the glass wall and I saw a group of army guys (I can tell by their hairstyle heheh) . Why am I seeing so many groups of army guys recently ? POP ? Day-off?

AND MINDY ARRIVED !

I hurriedly ate and we're off !

Yesterday's flea was great ! So many people selling dresses ! Which was what I was looking for for the past 2 fleas we went haha . I only spent 18bucks and I managed to get this lacy floral vintage dress, black&white striped cotton dress and a high-waist skirt :D Aaaah , love ^^

We saw a SAINT in the dance school there, Oschool or something like that (not sure of the spelling). ! She was wearing the Saints On Stage tee haha ! SO FXCKING COOL ! The energy level there was like BOOOOM ! Seeing how they dance, and how they are so passionate about it made me missed dance a lot. A lot lot lot. I was peering to see her face and well..., don't recognise her. Bummer.

And then, I saw my primary school classmate selling stuff (okay, his girlfriend was selling her clothes while he was accompanying her) ! Woah ! So I puposely went over to browse the clothes on the trolley. His girlfriend went to attend to some other ppl. So when he saw me browsing and wanted to come over, I *Oh! Finish browsing alr, left.* HAHA ! I finished browsing alr lor !

Nope, I didn't say 'Hi' or anything. It'd be so weird ! Like how ? My imaginary conversation goes something like:

Why everytime I see someone I know selling stuff at fleas ? Haha ! And all of them, I'm not close to :b

The Chinese guy outside was dashing though :) Better than the other angmoh outside AS WELL AS the angmoh polaroid model inside ! Ah ! He should just replace the one inside, seriously.

We were stopped by 2 guys promoting some priviledge card. Usually, I would just "Oh what time will you all be here until? I have to go get something first", walk off and never return. But since Mindy was listening, then I just stay and listen lor.

They asked us how old were we. Don't like ppl asking these kinds of questions. How old? What school? Which level? Argh. So I will just give a general answer like "oh ! JC." or "Still studying". But Mindy told them .

And then they turned to me, "You?"

"Same..."

Wtf?

And his colleague came and add on, promoting and talking and promoting. For a moment, I zoned out ;b oops. And then he was like going on and on about the discounts and 'I really cannot think of any reasons to reject it la' . It's like $50 for the card with free weekly movie tickets, and entry to places like ... clubs? And others. But they were like stressing movies and clubs SAVE MONEY ! (promote acc. to age group I guess) Okay, it kinda made sense la , saving money thing but it's really in the long run.

Then that walk-one-round guy, asked his colleague (still in disbelief), "等一下等一下, 你猜她几岁?"

Colleague, " 二十多"

Me, "Pffffft."

Walk-on-round guy, "她十七leh!"

Colleague, "Orh she look matured la"

Me, "Aiya, makeup la." *sounding damn uninterested and can't wait to leave alr*

Colleague, "I'm sure without makeup you also look mature la blahblahblah...."

Wa ! I've NEVER come across people doing sales like THAT before. You know what he say ?

"You can't plan like exactly which day you're doing what one right. Like last time, I told my mother I'm not going to smoke, I'm not going to drink, I'm not going to club, I'm not going to mix with the bad company, but in the end.. I also do all."

And then he was saying he did 9 years of sales and .......... And I like, " I did sales too." Haha.

In the end, we signed it.

I was quite and still quite unwilling la. Cos it's like bloody hell 50 bucks ! Heartpain leh ! So this whole holidays, I spent over a hundred bucks !! Aaaaah ! But I must earn my money back with that card somehow, I feel so broke TT TT !

That turn-one-round guy, D.P, accompanied us to withdraw money !! Walao. Can't escape ! And so uncomfortable ! *not-so-friendly mode turned on, which means I talk very little*

In the beginning, he was like, " Why you all so tense?"

"Harh ? No la. Tired. Walk whole day."

"Go where?"

"Flea"

Wah. Seriously, hate this.

I said must see how's the pay. "$7 per hour with commission"

"OH ! Cannot ! Too little XP"

"harh? Then how much you all want? What's your minimum?"

"$10 !!!!"

He seemed pretty like wtf? $10/hour ?!

So I said my previous job was that pay. SALES ALSO !

And it was like 9hours a day, Saturday and Sunday omg! CANNOT ! I told myself I'm never going to stand so long again . If it's one day, or like maybe 3 hours a day, I still can accept. But I have school leh !!! I need rest ! ;b Weekends are like sleep plus chiong homework time hahah !

Cut the story short, we went back to flea, walk one round and left, and I went to meet my family at Swenson's :) nomnom !
