Finallyyyy visited Wimbly Lu Chocolates 2 days ago after seeing tons of pictures posted by my friends on Instagram
It's one of the eateries in the stretch of shophouses nicely tucked away in the middle of Lorong Chuan and Serangoon. Unless you're cabbing there, you have to walk quite a distance whichhhhh wasn't much of a problem considering the distance I "ran" (yknow like what do runners do? run) back at Jamie's lols.
Ash and I decided to walk, get lost and find our way there hahaha how big can Singapore be right
Okay we were pretty lost initially..... but found our way
Exit A from Lorong Chuan, face the only stretch of road, turn left walk all the way straight, gotta turn right at a certain intersection, there's no obvious landmarks but..... you can sorta smell food wafting from that intersection??? HAHAHA navigate using GPS sua.

Was advised to make a reservation prior to visiting cuz the wait could take up to 30 minutes omg
Initially wanted to make a reservation the day before BUT cafes were closed on Mondays and so was the hotline dammit. Tried calling again earlier in the day itself but the line was engaged dammit. And thennn I forgot to call again ^^; Thank goodness the queue wasn't very long. Got our table around 10 minutes later~

Oh, the candle.
They had a candle on the table too, but here, they used a pretty mosaic Candle holder.

Prior to this, did a lillll research on what's nice/ recommended. "Try the root beer cake!" ladyironchef said and so we did :) Saw the lemon meringue on display while queuing, it looked nice! We ordered that too. Okay actually only the meringue looked nice, I like meringue! :) We also ordered molten lava cake, lasagne, chicken baked rice.

Chicken baked rice was like so-so only lei.
But the lasagne was nice!!! *inserts fanciful words to describe the dish* homely? HAHA
Root beer cake w vanilla ice-cream.... You could rlly taste the root beer in the cake :) Ash liked it, not bad lah haha but idk, wasn't rlly my kind of dessert?? I thought that the root beer would ooze out of the cake or something lols but no, it was in the batter.
Lemon meringue was... okay lor? The meringue looked soft and marshmallow-like but actually, it was crisp like pavlova. Yeah I loveee pavlova but pavlova is pavlova, I prefer soft curd-like meringue on tarts ahahahaha ohgod I sound so fussy but no I'm not =) Kinda made a mistake cuz I realised it was actually passionfruit curd (like the one in Carpenter and Cook) that I like instead of lemon curd ahahaha
Molten lava cake was chocolatey max!! Omg. Overflowing oozey chocolate lava~ and the top part was warm and crisp, lava it <3 Well.... i guess it's called Wimbly Lu Chocolates for a reason lols
