24/3 fate and chance

And yet another tenacious period begins. Knew that I had to prepare for interview this sem so I only took 2 cores 2 elective (1 of which is already cleared) but holy still so packed, interview prep can be another core itself alr hahaha

After having been through 2 sems of being extremely shag, found a phrase to be extremely helpful in getting things in check and also my sanity in check: Plan and take things one step at a time and you'll get there. It's all a matter of planning and being disciplined honestly.

And anyway really feeling the phrase "Everything happens for a reason" is true. Yea sometimes it's a matter of how you put the situation into good use and at other times, it seems like luck brought you there. Like how I initially wanted to intern with a fund management firm for winter but didn't get the position.  However, I got to intern with a food delivery startup instead. But now I'm really seeing the benefits of the latter.

Now for summer, I'm given priority for Sales function instead of the Marketing I originally applied, in my dream company. And like the tasks and skill set I picked up from my winter intern is so applicable!

And the thing is that I submitted my resume to my dream company before I embarked on the winter intern. So fate and chance really played a part in aligning my career path together man! Omg amazed.
